Volunteer
Thulo Chaur and Makai Bari
Village:
Introduction:
The village name of Thulo Chaur
and Makai Bari just 35 Kms. from
Kathmandu. Here are almost 2000 population
suffering from Education, Culture and
Sanitation. In this village, main income is
making the KODOKO RAKSHI (Millet Wine) and
sold them to near area as Kalanki,
Mathathirtha, Gurju Dhara. Young teenagers
spent their valuable time on playing cards
and don't think about future. For water,
women spent almost 2 hrs on walking.
Education:
Shree Kalli Devi Secondary school is just
right the picture showing waiting for
renovation as well as higher education. Here
300 students are getting there education
provided by the government of Nepal.
Culture:
People here are almost Hindu and Buddhist.
In this area, temples are to be repair.
Sanitation:
Here the big problem is for sanitation
because they have no concept for toilets
here we can provide the use of Toilets and
how to save the environment as well as there
health from disease.
